VENETO

The Veneto is situated in the northeastern corner of Italy , nestled snugly below Friuli on the Adriatic coastline. It is a mixture of plains and hills that extend over 7000 square miles. The most highly regarded wine of Veneto is the Amarone , which takes its name from Venetian dialect and literally translates to “bone dry.”
