One of the most essential components of the total Italian cuisine experience is wine. Italy is famous for its wines and Tuscan Oven owner Anthony Pirraglia, a veteran of the expansive world of wine, is committed to integrating that facet of the authentic Italian cuisine experience into the services he proudly offers his customers. One such service is the hosting of Tuscan Oven-sponsored wine tasting events.

Tuscan Oven is dedicated to making its wine tasting events the very best. This is done by bringing in winemakers and vineyard owners from Italy and locally across the United States to discuss the intricacies that make their specialty wines highly regarded the world over. Our incredibly vast range of available wines also includes unique chardonnays, cabernets and merlots, as well as Australian Shiraz, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Sardinia Vermentino. We also provide champagnes, traditional Prosecco and other Italian sparkling wines - something for everyone's wine palette!

The expertise and class with which our wine tasting events are conducted leave an impression on visitors such that they are not surprised that the Tuscan Oven has been awarded the highly-coveted Wine Spectator Award again in 2004- as we have for the past 11 years running.. We are very gratified and thankful that our dedication to excellence in wine has been recognized throughout New York and Connecticut in recent years.

In 2004, we were honored to be one of only ten restaurants to be invited to Westchester County's wine preview. We have also been chosen to conduct events at such wonderful locations as the MET, the National Museum of History and the Whitney Museum of Art, and the Washington Press Club.
